Insurance Litigation
Dell, Moser, Lane & Loughney, LLC has been representing insurance companies as a very significant part of our business since our formation. From coverage analysis to bad faith litigation, our insurance practice spans the entire scope of potential issues facing an insurance carrier in today's landscape. We have examined and analyzed issues involving personal automobile policies, commercial automobile policies, commercial general liability policies and homeowners' policies. We have performed coverage analysis under the property damage, bodily injury, inland marine, fire, theft and virtually every type of coverage portion of any type of policy.

Our insurance litigation background includes the handling of many declaratory judgment actions, actions in interpleader, first and third party bad faith lawsuits as well as actions in which insurers intervene as interested parties. We have a very broad research base from which we can obtain copies of judicial decisions from all fifty states related to specific policy provisions which have been interpreted infrequently in any single state. We have extensive experience in handling bad faith lawsuits including claims of breaches of the common law duty of good faith and fair dealing, violation of Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Acts and Insurance Regulations and violations of duties arising under the express and implied terms of insurance policies. We are familiar with virtually all sophisticated litigation issues involving insurance coverage and claims handling.
